The school celebrated Maharashtra Diwas on Friday, May 1, 2026, to mark the formation of the state of Maharashtra. The day was observed with a short assembly where students spoke about the history and significance of the day. On this occasion, all stakeholders—teachers, parents, and students—took an oath on Maharashtra Day, expressing confidence that their efforts towards literacy would empower individuals and help in building a strong, developed nation. The celebration also featured a vibrant Marathi folk dance performance, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra. The event helped students understand the importance of the state’s culture, heritage, unity, and the role of literacy in national development.
