Students Enjoy a Creative Musical Performance of The Tempest

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, students from standards VI, VII, VIII, and IX attended a musical performance of The Tempest by William Shakespeare, presented by the Helen O’Grady International Creative Education Academy. They were accompanied by Mrs. Ambre and Mrs. Desai.

The play tells the story of Prospero, a powerful sorcerer who uses magic to create a storm, bringing shipwrecked enemies to his island. The performance, which combined dance and mime, brought the story to life in an exciting and modern way. The students enjoyed watching the themes of revenge, forgiveness, and redemption unfold in a creative format.

This experience gave the students a chance to learn about Shakespeare’s work in a fun and engaging way, while also enjoying a unique and captivating performance. It was a valuable cultural outing for everyone involved.
