As a part of An Awareness Programme – Dr. Neha Sampat (BMC Chandanwadi) conducted a ‘Health Talk’ on monsoon related illnesses on Monday, July 20, 2015. This helped students and the teachers to create a disease – free environment to prevent illnesses like Dengue, Malaria etc.

A Workshop on Life Sciences by Ms. Dhun Panthaki - M.SC. B.Ed; M.S was conducted for teachers, parents & students on 21st, 26th, 28th Oct, 2015 respectively.
The workshop dealt with varies aspects of human sexuality - including basic reproductive physiology, physical & emotional changes that occur with growing up and the importance of dignity & mutual respect.

Colouring Contest - Children of Higher Kg to Std II participated in a colouring contest on Friday, July 1, 2016.

A Lecture on Anger Management, Healthy Foods and Eye Care was delivered to the pupils of Stds V to VIII by Dr. Shernaz Avari (Naturopath) on Tuesday, July 12, 2016.

Our school organized a fund-raiser titled 'Musical Melodies' on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at The Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
The singer and performer for the afternoon was our own in-house music teacher Mr. Viraf Daruwala who treated us with a soulful golden oldies and foot tapping numbers, thus, greatly entertaining the audience.

The best place from where young teens can solicit reliable career advice is their Secondary Schools.
This is precisely where 'Career Counselling' comes in, to help young students carve suitable futures.
Thus we hired the services of Mrs. Ganjawalla (Career Counsellor) for aptitude tests and vocational guidance to help students in knowing their inherent strengths & also to guide the students towards their 'best- fit' courses to get a correct career assessment.

Low body confidence undermines academic achievement. The Dove Self- Esteem Project addressed issues of body confidence and low self-esteem.
The workshop covered topics such as : appearance, beauty and body image and examined how images of models, actors and celebrities fabricated or manipulated to portray a “ perfection” against which our kids often measures themselves.
Most of all, the workshop helped young people develop the skills and behavior’s that lead to positive self-esteem and body confidence.

Sachin Dedhia an independent Cyber Crime Investigator & also a Certified Ethical Hacker working as a Cyber Crime Investigator and also as a security expert for IT companies, Government Departments, Corporates & even individuals provided training with respect to CYBER CRIME INVESTIGATIONS, ETHICAL HACKING & IT SECURITY, MOBILE FORENSICS etc. to our school children (stds VII to X), teachers, as well as to the PTA members on Monday, January 23, 2017.

A TRULY INFORMATIVE WORKSHOP.

On February 28th, 2017, to commemorate the remarkable discovery in the field of Physics i.e. 'The Raman Effect' we celebrated its significance with a week-long scientific activities and encouraged our children to participate in the same.
The activities are enumerated as follows:
1. Speech on the National Science Day.
2. Textbook Activities & Projects.
3. Poster Making.
4. Slogans' Writing.

EcoValley Nutrition and Fitness Programme for staff was conducted whereby, The teachers were given a talk on ‘Healthy Eating’. Their BMI was checked and They stressed on change in Lifestyle. They were also educted upon the goodness of green tea.

MAX LIFE INSURANCE ART WORKSHOP was conducted for the Primary Department on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The children got great opportunity to bond together and learn at the same time.

Dr. Viral P. Maru (MDS – Pediatric Dentistry) and his team carried out a comprehensive therapeutic and preventive dental examination for the dental needs of children from Nursery to Std X on Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

POGO programme called Bheem’s Fitness Formula was organised for the primary department. Through Bheem’s Fitness Formula, kids learnt about the value and importance of physical and mental activities which will help them to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Mr. Remus Rodrigues - A social Worker from Savdhan Cancer Control Foundation held a workshop on ‘Awareness of Cancer” with regard to Healthy Eating Habits for stds V to X on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in the school hall.

Spelling Fun - Spelling Game is a great way to finish a tutoring session, especially if it's been a particularly challenging session. An inter-class competition was held on Friday, July 1, 2016 for students from Stds III to X. Truly enjoyable & mind boggling.

A First- Aid Workshop cum Patrol Leaders' training for stds VIII and IX was held at the Pherozshah Godrej Pavilion on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Independence Day is an annual observance celebrated every year on 15th August, 2017. We at Gamadia commemorated this day with an ambience of patriotism. Our school hall was adorned with tricolor flags and the whole school echoed with slogans of 'Jai Hind', As students pledged to serve the nation and contribute in its progress. A skit was also presented by the secondary section depictive the efforts of freedom fighters to achieve independence. The program conducted with the signing of National Anthem.

On Tuesday, September 19, 2017 A lecture was arranged by the L.T Marg Police Department on Road safety and Security of the pupils.

An exuberant musical and proficiency acknowledging Fund Raising event was organized by the Bai M.N.Gamadia Girls' High School, on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at the Marathi Sahitya Sangh, at Charni Road.
We planned the most effective Fund Raising event by rewarding hard working students who excelled in various subjects and other pursuits encouraged at the school, following it with a fabulous musical evening by the school's Indian Music teacher Viraf Daruwalla and his team. The chief guests were Mr. & Mrs. Padaria the parents of our SSC topper 'Jinesh'.
There couldn't be a more spirited way of arranging a Fund Raising event.

The teachers and children remembered Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister and celebrated the love that he had for all children with a lot of fun-filled activities and delicious snacks.
The children arrived at school, dressed colorfully. The children were completely immersed when they watched the movie 'Jungle Book' on their individual class projectors.
The day was celebrated with great passion and excitement.

Procter & Gamble conducted a Health & Hygiene Programme to help young girls cope with the change they go through at adolescence in a confident manner and accepting the right hygiene practices.
The Programme lasted for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The Programme has been very useful and has been accepted very well by students.
