To celebrate the recognition of Marathi as an Abhijaat Bhasha and to instil pride and love for the mother tongue among students, Marathi Abhijaat Bhasha Week was enthusiastically celebrated from 3rd October 2026 to 9th October 2026. The week-long celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
Various competitions were organised during the week to encourage students to develop and showcase their language skills.
1. Essay Writing Competition
An essay writing competition was organised to enhance students’ thinking abilities and expression skills. Students expressed their thoughts effectively and systematically on topics such as “The Glory of Marathi Abhijaat Bhasha” and “My Mother Tongue Marathi.”
2. Handwriting Competition
A handwriting competition was conducted to encourage students to develop neat, clear and beautiful handwriting. Students from both the Primary and Secondary sections participated with great enthusiasm, displaying their writing skills through carefully written and well-presented work.
The celebration provided students with an opportunity to appreciate the richness of the Marathi language and its cultural heritage while fostering a deeper sense of pride and affection for their mother tongue.
