The Investiture ceremony of Student Council Members’ was held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 with great enthusiasm and dignity at Marathi Sahitya Sangh, Charni Road.
The ceremony was presided over by the Principal, Mrs. Zarin Rabadi, Trustees Mr. Kersi Commissariat accompanied by his wife Mrs. Zarin Commissariat, Mr. Zubin Billimoria, Mr. and Mrs. Sheikh, proud parents of our SSC Topper Ms. Shaheen Sheikh. The Solemn ceremony began with Prayer service followed by National Anthem and school song. The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by honorable Principal Ma’am and the house mistresses. The Active members of different houses such as Rose House, Jasmine House and Lotus House were also the part of the ceremony. The Head Girl, Girija Pathare, along with elected members swore to hold the school motto ‘Knowledge’ and ‘Duty’ in high esteem.
Our Principal Mrs. Zarin Rabadi appreciated the Council Members and advised them to be role models and work for the benefits of the students. She also assured them of her and the teachers of being supporting hand to the student council for the smooth running of the school.
The School Head Girl and Asst. Head Girl escorted the dignitaries to the stage with due respect for Prize Distribution ceremony. Prizes were awarded to the students excelling in academics (Year 2022-2023) from Nursery to Std X. Mr. Kersi Commissariat and Mr. Zubin Billimoria congratulated all the prize winners and the members of Student Council. They advised the students as well as the parents to be honest, dedicated and persistent in their work which gradually will direct them to success. The vote of thanks was delivered and the event concluded with the National Song.
