Fit India Movement, an initiative to take the country towards a healthier future was introduced by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on Thursday, 29 August 2019. On this occasion, we had live telecast of the of the Fit India Movement inauguration ceremony for our students.
The ceremony highlighted the India’s indigenous martial art forms, dances and sports which promotes our health by improving physical activity. After watching the programme the students realized that the technology has contributed to a sedentary lifestyle and how including physical activities in our lives will prove to be an antidote to it. Towards the end of the programme, the students swore to include physical activity and sports in their everyday life.
