The SAFE KIDS FOUNDATION organised an exhibition on Road Safety for Stds I-IX on Thursday, July 25, 2019 one of the most effective and appealing ways to create awareness.
It created a great impact on children as they found it attractive to experience the live road in an indoor setting , Children learnt and grasped more from visual activities as compared to preachy lectures.
To create awareness on pedestrian and passenger safety a mock road was created in the Audio-Visual Room with the help of entire road infrastructure such as road signs, cutouts of vehicles, traffic police, & live traffic signal- pedestrian & vehicular posters were displayed. The set-up of the exhibition was mentioned as real as possible, so that children could experience & demonstrate safety measures as road users.
Children’s questions & queries were answered with regard to road safety.
Truly, an enlightening day workshop.
