A short talk and training on ‘First Aid & Disaster Management’ was held at Bai M.N. Gamadia Girls’ High School on Tuesday, 27th August, 2019 in association with the Disaster Management Department, Mumbai.
Mr. Dharmendra Jadhav, a representative of the Disaster Management Department aroused curiosity amongst students to know about the said subject and explained what is disaster and the importance of first aid.
In his explanation, He briefed the students about the dos and don’ts at the time of fire and the methods of rescue. He also created awareness about various bandages that can be used in case of any injuries during the adversity or calamity.
The Principal, Mrs. Zarin B. Rabadi concluded the session with a vote of thanks and appreciation of the efforts taken by the Disaster Management Department to educate the young minds and create awareness amongst masses about the subject through them.
