On the occasion of International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, the Municipal Council of Greater Mumbai organised an interactive webinar for students, parents and teachers. Mr. Rajendra Lokhande, the resource person explained the concept very well. He explained how one can avoid disastrous situations by remaining prepared for it using one’s presence of mind.
He insisted on maintaining a survival kit consisting of 3-4 drinking water bottles, dryfruits and other non perishable eatables, torch with batteries, radio with batteries and whistle along with a self made ID card with personal and medical information written on it for our safety, survival and identification during any kind of natural or man-made calamity.
The session was truly informative.
