Awareness regarding safe sanitary practice amongst adolescent girls is essential. The Proctor and Gamble organisation held a talk on Zoom platform for our students of std VI and VII as that’s the age group who remain clueless at the inception of their menstrual cycle.
They focused on bringing about change in the attitudes of all participants and imparted knowledge about the menstrual cycle as well as practices with regard to menstrual hygiene and management of day to day activities during those days. They also educated the girls on the use of sanitary napkins commercially available in the market.
