Our students of Std IX visited the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at Fort, Mumbai on Thursday, July 11 2024. The visit was organized to provide students with a firsthand experience of the nation’s central banking institution and to enhance their understanding of its role in the Indian economy. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the RBI staff and given an overview of the bank’s history, functions, and significance. They toured the main building, visited the RBI Museum, and were fascinated by the exhibits showcasing the evolution of Indian currency, the security features of banknotes, and the various tools and technologies used in banking over the years.
This educational trip not only broadened the students’ knowledge but also inspired many to consider careers in banking and finance.
