15th October is observed as Vachan Prerna Diwas to mark birth anniversary of our Late President and a great scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. This day is observed so that the students understand the importance of reading and are encouraged to develop it as a hobby.
We, at Gamadia Girls’ High School celebrated the occasion on Monday, October 17 by showing inspirational videos on life of Dr. Kalam and importance of reading to our pupils followed by reading in the classrooms. Pupils were encouraged to visit library and read their favourite books.
