‘VACHAN PRERNA DIVAS’, ‘Reading Day’ was celebrated in our school on Monday, October 16, 2023, to pay homage to our former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who loved reading and writing. Our pupils enjoyed reading stories from library and solved word puzzles. Some pupils read articles from newspaper in different languages. They had an open access to the school library to encourage more and more pupils to participate in the event. Reading activity was also conducted in each class. The pupils were made to write the summery of the stories read by them to stimulate comprehension. Inspirational AV on the life history of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam was screened to mark importance of the day.
