Officers from LT Marg Police station gave a talk on Women Safety on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. The officers informed our pupils about NIRBHAYA SQUAD, an initiative by state government for women safety which consists of trained women police officers. The Squad remains active and does patrolling in a purple car with 2 police constables and one PI every fortnight.
They informed that if any women is followed, sexually / physically / mentally abused or if any women finds her friends or relative is in danger in need can call on Nirbhaya helpline 103, they also provided an alternate number (8591935709) in case the line is busy or out of reach.
