On February 16, 2024, PI Nanda Sanap from Lt. Marg Police Station delivered a crucial talk on “Good Touch Bad Touch” and women’s safety to students of standards 8 and 4, as part of the Police Didi Program. Through engaging discussions, students learned to discern appropriate physical contact from inappropriate ones, empowering them to assert their boundaries confidently.
Using current case examples, PI Sanap illustrated the importance of understanding boundaries and recognizing signs of inappropriate behavior. By highlighting real-life scenarios, students gained practical insights into identifying and responding to situations involving harassment or abuse.
Moreover, emphasis was placed on fostering a safe environment for women, equipping the students with practical safety measures and encouraging them to be vigilant allies in promoting women’s safety. The session aimed to instil awareness and responsibility, nurturing a community where respect and safety are paramount.
