Marathi Bhasha Divas is celebrated in honour of the Marathi language. It is celebrated every year on 27th February to rejoice the birth anniversary of late poet V.V. Shirwadkar also known as ‘Kusumagraj’
Marathi being the official language of the State of Maharashtra, the main focus of celebration was to promote the Maharashtrian culture amongst the pupils of our school. The assembly commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal & the teachers. Following which the teacher recited a poem in Marathi.
The assembly concluded with scintillating & stunning dance performance which included – Bharat Natyam, Lavni, Gondhal & Koli dance by the pupils of various grades.
Marathi Bhasha resonated all across the school that day !
