As per the directives of the Education Department, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule’s 200th Jayanti was commemorated through a series of engaging and value-based activities from 23rd July to 30th July 2026, highlighting his vision of equality, justice and education for all. Students participated in Equality Stories and Discussions, gaining an insight into the life, vision and significant contributions of Mahatma Phule towards social reform. A slogan-writing competition based on his thoughts and messages was organised for Std. 1 & 2 and Std. 3 & 4, with the best three entries from each group being awarded certificates. The Primary students also participated in an Equality Run, carrying banners and posters to spread the message of equality and social justice. On 30th July, students took part in Equality Wall Rally, raising awareness about equality, justice and the importance of girl-child education. The celebration provided a meaningful platform for students to understand and reflect upon Mahatma Phule’s ideals and their relevance in today’s society. The activities concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the values of equality, education, justice and social empowerment and to contribute towards building a more inclusive and compassionate society.
