The intra-School Computer Project Competition 2017-2018 was held on Monday, 26th February 2018 at 09:00 am, which was conducted by the Advanced School of Computer Institution India (ASCII) Pvt. Ltd. and hosted by the Computer Department of Bai M. N. Gamadia Girls High School. The competition was conducted with an intention to judge and enhance the understanding level of IT (Information Technology) concepts amongst the students.
The competition was held in three categories namely, Junior (Std III & IV), Intermediate (Std V &VI) and Senior (Std VII& VIII). The Junior and Intermediate categories presented Offline Projects and the Senior category presented Online Projects. Students were excited to participate as they got the platform to assess their knowledge level acquired till date in the IT field.
The intra-school Computer Project Competition 2017-2018 was judged by two expertise, Mr. Kirthish Shettigar, the Administrative Manager of ASCII Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Precilla Louis, the Computer Lecturer at Manekjee Cooper Education Trust School. They played a crucial role in asking probing questions to the participants. This helped them judge their knowledge over the topic and to develop their computer skills.
The judges selected 2 winners from each category based on their performance.
A total of 20 teams (each consisting of four students) were registered for the Computer Project competition. Six winning groups (two groups in each category) were awarded merit certificates and gold / silver medal and others were given participation certificates in order to encourage them to participate in many such upcoming events.
