Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti was celebrated in our school on Sunday, October 1, 2023 to revere the great leaders of our nation. Our pupils and teachers held a special assembly to commemorate their life and teachings. The student led choir sung Gandhi’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav Janto’ with full exuberance. A special speech by Mrs. Sawant with information on importance of the day brought the gathering to understand more about this iconic leaders. Gandhian ideals were depicted in the most eloquent manner through narration of a story related to satyagraha by pupils of Std IX & X.
Following the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi, our pupils cleaned the school premises contributing their little in ‘Swachhata Abhiyaan’ initiated by the great leader.
All our pupils were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts and vowed to became responsible citizens of India and this World.
