A Mono-Acting Competition was organized for the pupils of the Secondary Department on Friday, July 7, 2023. Mono Acting is an art which needs acting as well as intelligence and it also helps to improve soft skills of an individual.
Best 17 participants were selected to perform for the finale after a mass screening. It was interesting to see a variety of characters being played. From being a Charlie Chaplin, Rani of Jhansi, Kishna-Arjun, A student, Mata Sita, Jija Mata, Alia Bhat – Arya Bhat, A Politician, An Old Women to personification of Pollution was portrayed brilliantly.
The contest was a great experience as the participants exhibited their acting skills with absolute enthusiasm and with appropriate quantity of all the ingredients required to make their character lively.
Though the competition was a perfect “Tadka” to the entertainment of the audiences; The judge for the day Ms. Aarti Kapadia, an ATCL from the Trinity College of London, had a tough time to select the winners of the competition. Other than the winners’ certification, each and every participant was awarded with praise and appreciation by our esteemed judge and the dignitaries.
