World Computer Day was celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 by informing students about the 2026 theme – The 80th Anniversary of ENIAC. Students were introduced to ENIAC as one of the earliest electronic computers and its important role in the development of modern technology.
The programme also emphasized the appropriate and responsible use of ChatGPT by both students and teachers. Guidance was provided on using AI as a supportive learning tool while maintaining originality, creativity, and critical thinking.
