As part of our Mental Health Week initiatives, our Primary and Secondary teachers and office staff took part in a wellness session titled “Caring for the Carer”, facilitated by psychologist and expressive arts therapist Kaiyomi Mistry on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
The session offered a gentle introduction to stress management, grounding techniques, and the importance of self-care in school environments. Through creative activities and simple practices like box breathing, staff were encouraged to pause and reflect on their own well-being—a reminder that taking care of ourselves helps us better care for others.
While the session served as a valuable starting point for conversations around mental health and self-care in our school community.
