In line with the directives of the School Education and Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra, the school celebrated Independence Day 2025 with a drill based on patriotic songs. The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students from Grades I to X participated in the well-coordinated drills termed “Kavayat”, performing rhythmic movements in sync with selected patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere of pride, unity, and togetherness.
The songs were chosen at the local level to reflect the spirit of the occasion. The energetic and disciplined drills showcased the students’ enthusiasm and dedication, while also contributing to their physical and mental well-being. The celebration reinforced the belief that a school is a workshop for nation-building, and by shaping disciplined and patriotic citizens, it plays a vital role in building the future of the nation.
